As the industry moves closer to Meaningful Use and health reform, the ability to seamlessly exchange data to improve the coordination, quality and efficiency of care provided through health information exchanges become increasingly important for all healthcare organizations and will be required to meet several of the recommended requirements for Stages 2 and 3.
This service assists the Client organization in determining the most appropriate approach to HIE whether it be joining an established local, regional or state network or developing its own. A roadmap is developed laying out the steps and timeframes necessary to meet the objectives. Depending on the scope and options assessed, this project will be between 8 and 12 weeks in duration.
