Meaningful Use Progress Assessment Program

The program is designed to assess the clients’ progress toward the attainment of Meaningful Use.  It provides an in-depth review of all Stage 1 “meaning use” requirements including the menu set measures and determines which are not in compliance.  The current plan for remediating each requirement not in compliance is reviewed and updated along with the timeline for completion and comparison with projected attestation dates.  In addition, preliminary Meaningful Use Stage 2 and Stage 3 requirements are incorporated where appropriate.

CMS incentive payment projections are updated based on the most current statistics.  The objective of the program is to determine if a hospital or eligible professional is on track to achieve Meaningful Use within its projected timeframes and provide recommendations for any changes or updates to the current plan to better position the Client for success.
